Max Walewski is a fifth-year student at Syracuse University pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Real Estate. His academic interests focus on the intersection of architecture, technology, and sustainability, particularly through material performance and digital fabrication. Max has worked at Perkins&Will in Boston, where he contributed to the Schematic and Design Development phases of a new residential hall at the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Previously, he interned at ISGENUITY and Nelson + Pope, gaining experience across higher education, medical, and civic projects.

In recognition of his academic and professional dedication, Max was selected as the Summer 2025 recipient of the Connie Caldwell Internship Award and has also received the Peter J. Moore Memorial Scholarship for architectural sketching during his studies in Florence, Italy. He has earned consistent placement on the Dean’s List and holds a Portfolio Scholarship for design excellence.

Beyond the studio, Max serves as a Resident Advisor for the Architecture Living Learning Community, mentoring first-year students and fostering academic and social engagement within the School of Architecture. He is also an active member of the Syracuse University Chess Club and has professional experience as a photographer for Syracuse University Athletics and Marketing.
